I finished this book recently and LOVED it…  it’s a Great book by Kristen Hannah set during World War II  .  Honestly, I don’t normally like books that take place during real events… but Kristen Hannah is one of my favorite authors and she has a way of sucking me in to her stories.

I highly recommend reading at least one of her stories and deciding for yourself if her writing style suits you.  Aside from The Nightingale,  another of her books that is a favorite of mine is Winter Garden.
