In the outskirts of a little town in Battle Creek Michigan sits a beautiful natural area- Leila Arboretum.  There’s plenty of open space to walk.  A fountain to sit by.  What drew the attention of the kids however, was a little “fantasy forest”.

The Fantasy Forest is a little area of dead ash trees that were transformed into beautiful carved creations.  This took place over 2015-16, so it’s a more recent addition to the arboretum.

The Leila Arboretum is free to enter.  There really is no “entrance”, it’s just an open natural area (there may be fees charged at special events)
