Free /cheap in March. Various states

My family LOVES to travel.  My blog isn’t about “things to do” where we live- it’s about things to do anywhere!  We love to experience new things all of the time and so I try to find interesting things to do anywhere.  Any time I post these monthly ideas of free/cheap things to do- I try to find things in a variety of places… Some of them we’ve been to, and some of them we would LOVE to go to if the chance ever comes up- here’s some fun things for March California: Asian Art Museum– San Francisco – Free the first Sunday of each month as part of the Target First Free Sunday program. Georgia: Children’s Museum of Atlanta– Atlanta- Free the second Tuesday (March 14) as part of the Target Free admission program. Florida: Fort George Island Cultural State Park– Jacksonville- FREE ADMISSION. open 8am-Sundown. Texas: Houston Zoo-Houston-  Free First Tuesday afternoon (March 7) noon-5pm (zoo closes at 6pm)  You can get advance tickets up to a week in advance, or at the door the day of.  Runs September- May. Ohio: Columbus Zoo– Columbus:  Half price admission through March 17.  We traveled to this zoo last summer and it was FANTASTIC- I’ll finally be posting about it this month but trust me when I say- It’s worth every penny- your kids will love it! Free and cheap things to do in August

CALIFORNIA: San Diego & OC Fair Bounceback  (click here for the official website) Save your San Diego County Fair or Ventura County Fair ticket stub for one free admission at the OC Fair, July 15-August 14. If you are a San Diego Fair Best Pass Ever holder, visit Guest Services during the San Diego County Fair and receive one complimentary ticket to the OC Fair. Physical ticket must be presented. E-tickets on mobile devices will not be accepted for promotion. Active Military & Veterans Active-duty military and veterans receive free OC Fair admission and are eligible to purchase ½ price general admission tickets. Promotion is valid all 23 days of the 2016 OC Fair. Military ID required. Free admission is not applicable for spouses or dependents. A maximum of six ½ price tickets may be purchased.
