Shedd Aquarium: FREE General admission and discounted upgraded admission to Illinois Residents: February 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 Anyone with a Bank of America Debit card and photo ID can receive one free General Admission Feb 6-7
WASHINGTON DC
National Zoo: FREE every day
TEXAS
Dallas Zoo– $5 admission December 1- FEbruary 29. After that it goes up to regular pricing of $12-15
CALIFORNIA
Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego– Feb 18- 5-7pm. Free the third Thursday of every month from 5-7pm. WEbsite does state “kid friendly”
WASHINGTON
Seattle Art Museum– Feb 4- Free to all on the first Thursday of every month
INDIANA
Children’s Museum of Indianapolis (I have been to this museum and it is WORTH the full price admission cost- so to get in FREE or even reduced is a FANTASTIC deal!)
Feb 4- Free admission 4-8pm for Target family night. Feb. 15, 2016—Reduced admission 10 a.m.–5 p.m. for Presidents Day ($5 adults; $1 youth)
MICHIGAN
FREE FISHING WEEKEND– Feb 14-15. Great opportunity if it isn’t a blizzard outdoors 😉 You can fish on the Great Lakes or any inland lakes without a license. Normal rules still apply so check out the DNR link if you’re not sure what those are.
