I’m not sure about your kids, but I’m already hearing “I’m bored, what can we do today?”
Well… I started looking into cheap/ free options.
Here’s a wrap up of some upcoming activities for kids to stay active this summer without breaking your budget:
1) Lowe’s Build And Grow classes– They have some Marvel Avengers classes coming up in July that are free but require registration.
2. Home Depot’s Monthly FREE kids workshop– First Saturday of every month and July 4th is no exception! Their July 2015 class is based off the Minions movie coming to theaters soon.
3. Goodrich Quality Theaters Summer Kids Movie Program– $1 movies

4. Celebration Cinema Free Kids Flick: Home. Runs July 3-? – This appears to only be happening at the Celebration Cinema in Grand Rapids, MI
5. In or around New York City? Here’s a link to some FREE tours. Many groups offer tour guides that simply work for tips.
6. Buffalo History Museum in Buffalo, NY– Third Friday’s are Free admission. July 17, 2015
7. Kalamazoo Valley Museum, Kalamazoo MI- Free Daily Admission all year long (donations welcome). They have great interactive kids educational displays that I will be featuring here on my site soon!
8. Texas Road House: Tuesday night kids night with Free or discounted kids meals (varies by location. Click the link to find your local restaurant and see what they offer and what requirements there are.
